Swift corridor

One of our long-term projects is to establish a corridor of stable swift breeding colonies, tracking the curve of the Thames from Marlow in the north to Maidenhead in the south.

Cookham (including Dean and Rise) lies in between towns, and by having strengthened populations to the north and south, we hope to re-establish Cookham's swift populations.

We have already created dozens of new sites in Maidenhead and Cookham and are now focusing on improving provision in Marlow to help achieve this goal.
